On H4 and getting a Job

If you are on a H-4 visa and if you are the kinds, who is career 'mad'oriented, then you know what I am talking about.

I am on H-4 visa. A management graduate from one of the popular B-Schools in India. Have worked with big brand name. When I post my resume on naukri.com, I usually get calls the very next day.

But now after the wedding and relocation, I find myself in a different position. Vague people call me up for unsuitable job opportunities. They now seem to tell me what is best for me. I got a job offer from a Desi company, and the Guy offered me employment and no pay for two months. God! Give me the patience to put up with all this.

I have now resigned to GMAT preparation. May be will join college again. I have also enrolled for CAPM exams. Anybody in the same shoes, mail me sometime.

  • Add the small onions and fry till they turn reddish or change color
  • Add tomatoes, sambar powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida and the cooked dhals

Recipe - 'Easy to cook' Bread Rolls

My husband just loves this snack. Its so easy to prepare and the bread, egg combination makes it so tasty!

Ingredients:

Bread Slices
Chicken Links
Pickle
Eggs
The omnipresent water!!!

Preparation:

Grease the bread on one side with pickle [we used tomato pickle and it tatses yum!]. Now roll the bread over the link so it looks like you have stuffed the bread with the link. Now moist the ends of the bread and seal them. You can choose to leave it dry for awhile. Keep a few pieces ready and heat the pan. When the pan is ready, dip the stuffed bread in beaten egg and then cook it on the pan. Ofcourse, you can get creative with the stuffing.

Pl do try and lemme know your comments

“It’s The Apprentice Not The Apprenti…”—Randall saves the show

The Final Episode

It came as a shock to me when Trump asked Randal if he could hire Rebecca as well.Come on, I wouldn't have liked to watch the show for three full hours to find both of them crowned as the winners. Moreover what's with our 'Tough' Trump? Wouldn't the brand image of 'Apprentice' get kinda diluted. Trump and the show are known for the rashness. I think Randal truly saved the show.It was his moment of victory and it definitely cannot be shared with anybody else.

The final round of 'The Apprentice' was truly a battle between the two forces. Both of them have equally proved their leadership skills, loyalty and determination time and again in the past episodes.

However, Randal has always been my favorite. He is extremely well-balanced, composed [except the final episode, come on, who wouldn't under all that pressure!] and well qualified. And am sure nobody would forget that he was the lady's favorites and they picked him when Trump allowed loaning of one member from the Guys team .

All said, he surprisingly was not his usual self in the 'planning' and 'organizing' phase of the final contest. He was laid back and I guess most of them believed that Rebecca had a better chance of winning. Check out whom the gamblers betted on: [Who Will be the Next Apprentice? Odds Now Favor Rebecca over Randal]

However he made a strong and powerful comeback during the 'execution' phase. He satisfied Trump's ego by giving him all the importance he deserved. His 'Welcome Address/Speech' was truly so genuine and impressive. It was moving and carried a lot of emotions.

Rebecca proved her leadership skills. She is a very effective Project Manager. But according to me, she does not possess that 'special something' Randal has about him. While I say that, I am sure its not the MIT degree or the experience I am referring to. Its got to do with the soft skills Randal had.Randal's amazing speech, the way he handled the event and his team's support indicated his sure victory. Randal was the true winner!

Special Mention :
Toral, she's unbelievable: Read her Q&A at Yahoo . especially question numbers 4, 6 and 7.
